Receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aids share the shape and style of behind-the-ear (BTE) models but are more compact due to positioning the receiver (or loudspeaker) in the ear-tip rather than the main housing. They are ideal for individuals experiencing mild to severe hearing loss.
In RIC hearing aids, sound travels directly from the housing behind the ear through a thin wire to the receiver in the ear canal. This design not only delivers excellent sound quality but also offers discretion and fully automatic functionality.
